Inside the Mind of a Musical Doll

About Me

Alot of people have their opinions about me and sometimes their’s are different than mine. Here’s an about me page from MY perspective.

I’m usually quiet and shy at first, but once you get to know me, I can be pretty talkative–and a bit crazy. I got saved December 18, 2005 after thinking I was saved for so long. I graduated from Faithful Ambassadors Bible Baptist Academy in 2007 and I’m working on my B.S. in Music Education at Pacific Baptist College. Yes, I’m in college. Alot people think I’m still in junior high because I look young. Maybe because I act young too. Who knows?

In the music world, I’m a string person. I’ve played the violin since I was 9, viola since 13, and cello since 16. Just because I graduated from F.A.B.B.A. doesn’t mean I’m all that great of a singer. I’m working on my piano. I want to get to the level where I could at least play hymns for church, even if they’re just basic chords. I currently teach private lessons for violin. If you’re interested you can talk to me.

Here are some things you’ll hear people say to me often:

  • “You’re more of a nerd than I am”
  • “I love taking you shopping with me. I don’t need a calculator to figure out sales and taxes and stuff”
  • (On the phone) “May I please speak to your parents or an adult?”
  • (In a restruant) “Would you like some crayons?”
  • “You’re so filipino”
  • “You watch too much anime”
  • “Don’t forget your cell phone”
  • “You lost your keys again?!?!”
  • “It’s because you’re an A.C.E. kid”
  • “You may have gotten a haircut and new clothes to make you look older. But your still the cute little girl Jireh”
  • “You would make a good voice actor for a cartoon”
  • “Is this the gullible one everyone is talking about?” *new*
  • “Little one… *insert command here* :)” *new*
  • “Stop pouting” *new*
  • “You need to eat your rice” *new*
  • (In Pastor Kirkland’s class) “… and of course Jireh’s  sitting there going ‘I just want my kitty” *new*

This one’s my favorite: “Ay naku Ji, when you go to college, you’ll need to find yourself a boyfriend to help you remember everything” This was said after I had forgotten my cell phone at home and lost my camera the day before =)

HI JIREH!! I’m so happy you have a blog now! 🙂
Yes, I can agree with the “quiet at first/crazy after a while thing” about you! And it’s so funny, I’ve known FABBA for years, but I never knew what the initials stood for! 🙂
I hope you are having a great summer! Love, Mommy 🙂
